Broadway is More Accessible Than Ever Before!
Shubert Audience Services provides on-demand Closed Captioning, Audio Description, and Assistive Listening in all Shubert theatres. Beginning four weeks after a show’s official opening night performance, these services will be available at every performance. Audience members can use their own smartphone or tablet, or they can borrow a device at the Shubert Audience Services kiosk in each theatre’s lobby.
In addition to these access services, Shubert also provides real-time language translations at participating shows, on the audience member’s mobile device. All of Shubert’s new services have been tested thoroughly at actual performances and will not disturb anyone sitting near the user.
